Sci Fi TV Premieres This Week: Freakish, Channel Zero, Falling Water, Supergirl, and More

Six more premieres this week as The CW brings back Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supernatural while three new shows also hit the schedule: Freakish (Hulu), Channel Zero (Syfy), and Falling Water (USA). Freakish: Series Premiere is on Monday October 10th on Hulu, All episodes will be available
Here’s the official synopsis of the show:
A group of students trapped in a high school must fight for survival when predatory mutant freaks take over after a meltdown at the local chemical plant. Hulu.com Note that this is a season-long horror anthology series.

Supergirl: Season 2 Premiere is on Monday October 10th on The CW at 8 PM EST
Here’s the official synopsis for the second season:
Kara has left the safety of being Cat Grant’s assistant in order to figure out what she really wants to do, while as Supergirl she continues to work at the DEO., protecting the citizens of National City and searching for Jeremiah and Cadmus. Along the way, she will team up with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to battle new villains, as she strives to balance her personal life with her life as a superhero. CWTV.com

Channel Zero: Series Premiere is on Tuesday October 11th on Syfy at 9 PM EST
Here’s the official synopsis of the show:
Based on a popular “creepypasta” (user-generated horror stories that are published and passed around the Internet), Candle Cove centers on one man’s obsessive recollections of a mysterious children’s television program from the 1980s, and his ever-growing suspicions about the role it might have played in a series of nightmarish and deadly events from his childhood. Syfy.com Note that this is a season long sci fi / horror anthology series and the “Candle Cove” storyline will comprise the first, six-episode long season.

Legends of Tomorrow: Season 2 Premiere is on Thursday October 13th on The CW at 8 PM EST
Here’s the official synopsis for the second season:
After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the exposure of the corrupt Time Masters, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action. After making a shocking discovery, Nate seeks out Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in finding the scattered Legends. Supernatural: Season 12 Premiere is on Thursday October 13th on The CW at 9 PM EST

Falling Water: Series Premiere is on Tuesday October 11th on Syfy at 9 PM EST
