Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Summer continues to wind down this week as two more shows have their finales. On Sunday, FX’s The Strain wraps up its four year run with its series finale. On Monday, AMC’s Preacher has its second season finale (I had previously August 28th as that show’s finale date in error). Also this week, NBC’s Midnight Texas has an extra episode on Wednesday as it preps for its season finale next week. And the schedule is currently showing a new episode of The Orville on Sunday. I had thought that one would have just one Sunday airing before moving to Thursdays, but the schedule currently shows two Sunday eps before shifting to Thursday on September 21st. I am verifying that as it conflicts with previous information I saw, so be sure to keep an eye on the weekly listings for schedule adjustments.
