Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of August 22nd: The Strain Has its Season 3 Premiere

By | August 21, 2016

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

the-strain-S3FX’s The Strain returns this coming Sunday for its third season and it really counts more as an early Fall show than a late Summer entry. There are no other premieres or finales for the week as (slow) business as usual continues while the Summer season winds down. But we are just a month away from the official start of the Fall season, and the schedule will be packed once again with genre entries pretty soon (you can get a preview of that at this link), so get caught up on your DVR queue now. Note that BBC America continues its encore run on AMC’s Into the Badlands this week which airs on Saturday at 10 PM EST.
